Mechanical Designer - SolidWorks
Thinkpath Engineering Services (TES) is recruiting for a Mechanical Designer to fill a contract-to-hire position in Piqua, Ohio.
Job
Responsibilities:
o Prepare layouts and manufacturing detailed prints using SolidWorks
o Retrofit old and new equipment including the development and update of designs
o Prepare customer assembly drawings
o Prepare sales drawings
Qualifications Desired:
o Proficient in SolidWorks (AutoCAD is a plus)
o Experience in mechanical component design and drafting
o Knowledge in stack up tolerancing on the fabrication and assembly of parts a plus
o Experience in sheet metal design for enclosure, latching and operating mechanisms a plus
