Responsibilities:
- Source and purchase materials, supplies, and equipment needed for the company's operations - Evaluate suppliers and negotiate contracts and pricing terms - Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock - Collaborate with internal teams to understand their purchasing needs and requirements - Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery information - Coordinate with vendors to resolve any issues or discrepancies - Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to make informed purchasing decisions
Experience:
- Previous experience in purchasing or procurement roles preferred - Knowledge of fabricating and assembling processes - Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management - Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools - Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently - Mechanical knowledge to understand technical specifications of products Note:
