Responsibilities:
Plans and coordinates ongoing public relations initiatives.
Promotes goodwill and awareness of programs/services that facilitate the attainment of career center objectives.
Exemplifies professionalism and fosters goodwill to enhance the career center's image.
Maintains open and effective communications.
Serves as a reliable information resource.
Pursues opportunities to enhance professional performance.
Takes precautions to ensure safety.
Initiates action to manage/eliminate risks.
Performs other specific job-related duties as directed.
Qualifications:
Public relations skills substantiated by training, work experience, and/or degree.
Ability to implement cross-platform marketing and communication strategies.
Originality, critical thinking and social perceptiveness skills.
Ability to work independently in a professional manner.
Demonstrates proficiency in spelling, proofreading and the correct use of grammar.
Displays flexibility, reliability, self-discipline and willingness to take on challenging tasks.
Embodies high ethical standards and integrity.

Photography for print illustration and digital publications.
Proficient in social media platforms.
Maintains a record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.
Able to successfully pass a BCI/FBI background check.
Maintains compliance with drug-free workplace rules, Board policies, and other applicable procedures/guidelines.
